In 2012, Rooms debuted its first property by transforming a former Soviet sanatorium nestled in the Caucasus Mountains. The hotel sits just above Stepantsminda, an alpine town of 1,300 residents along the banks of the Tergi River. Directly in front of the expansive outdoor terrace, the striking 5,054 meter Mount Kazbegi - a dormant stratovolcano - dominates the horizon. On the other side of the property, the guest rooms, designed with reclaimed, locally sourced materials, offer quiet views facing the forest.
